  4. GOLF SCORE CARD IS SHAREWARE AND MAY BE FREELY COPIED & DISTRIBUTED

  6. GOLF SCORE CARD IS A COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM WHICH ALLOWS THE USER TO 
  7. ENTER EVERY ROUND OF GOLF WHICH HE/SHE HAS PLAYED.  THE PROGRAM THEN 
  8. OFFERS A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT ANALYSIS FEATURES WHICH WILL CHART ANY 
  9. (HOPEFUL) IMPROVEMENT IN THEIR GAME.

  13. To setup Golf Score Card, type File and Run from the Program Manager.
  14. Next type A:\SETUP.EXE if the installation files are on your floppy 
  15. drive or else type the path to where you have downloaded/copied the 
  16. installation files.  Follow the on-screen prompts, selecting where you
  17. want to install the files.
  18.  
  19. When you first run Golf Score Card you will be presented with a screen
  20. prompting for your name and current handicap.  Enter this information and
  21. you will be shown the Shareware details of this program, including 
  22. where to send your $10 registration fee.  You will also be shown your
  23. individual user code.

  25. The program allows ten rounds to be entered, after which time a
  26. password must be entered.  This password will be sent after the program
  27. has been registered.

  29. IMPORTANT - WRITE THIS CODE DOWN!  YOU WILL NEED IT WHEN YOU DECIDE TO
  30. REGISTER THE SOFTWARE AFTER 10 ROUNDS HAVE BEEN ENTERED.

  49. Golf Score Card also creates the following data files:

  51. COURSES.TXT
  52. ROUNDS.TXT
  53. USERCODE.TXT

  55. The file USERCODE.TXT contains a copy of the the user code which should
  56. be sent with the registration fee.  Although this can be opened and
  57. read, it should not be changed as the password I return on registration
  58. is based on this code.

  60. Please Note: V1.2 includes fixes for the date in non-British countries,
  61. and also the program crash which occurred when data was entered on the
  62. first of the month.
